ZRP RODS – SET CONNECTING RODS BMW M70 V12 HD SERIES

The I-Beam “Heavy Duty” series connecting rods for the Honda B18A, B18B, and B20 are designed for high-horsepower/boost applications. They are constructed from the finest raw materials, 4340 high-strength steel, with a specially optimized shape for high performance and extreme durability. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance and feature a radial groove that serves as an oil reservoir. They are shot-peened to relieve material stress and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and torsion are strictly controlled. Each connecting rod includes ARP 2000 3/8″ plug fasteners rated at 220,000 psi. Optional ARP L19 260,000 psi material is available as an upgrade. The entire kit comes with ARP moly and complete assembly instructions.
