ZRP RODS – SET CONNECTING RODS FIAT 2.0L 20V COUPER 5 CYLINDER HD SERIES

The I-Beam connecting rods for the Opel 1.6L Turbo Z16 are made from high-strength 4340 steel and are designed for high performance, extreme durability, and extra rigidity. The “straight-cut” pin end increases durability, so they can only be used in conjunction with aftermarket pistons. The bushings are made of AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance and have a radial groove that serves as an oil reservoir. They are shot peened to relieve material stress and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and torsion are strictly controlled. Each connecting rod includes ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi. Optional ARP L19 material rated at 260,000 psi is available as an upgrade. The entire kit is supplied with ARP moly and complete installation instructions.
