ZRP RODS – ALFA 159 / BRERA / 4C / GIULIETTA 1750CC TBI I-BEAM CONNECTING RODS

The I-Beam “Heavy Duty” series connecting rods for the Alfa 1750cc TBI are designed for high-horsepower/boost applications. They are constructed from the finest raw materials, high-strength 4340 steel, with a specially optimized shape for high performance and extreme durability. They feature “straight-cut” pin ends for increased durability, so they can only be used with aftermarket pistons. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance and have a radial groove that serves as an oil reservoir. They are shot-peened to relieve material stress and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and torsion are strictly controlled. Each connecting rod includes ARP 2000 plug fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, with optional ARP L19 material rated at 260,000 psi available as an upgrade, and the entire kit comes with ARP moly and complete installation instructions.
