ZRP RODS – CONNECTING ROD SET FORD 2.0L ECOBOOST HD SERIES

The I-Beam connecting rods for the Ford 2.0L Duratec are made from high-strength 4340 steel and are designed for high performance, extreme durability, and extra rigidity. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance and feature a radial oil reservoir groove. They are shot peened to relieve material stress and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and twisting are strictly controlled. Each connecting rod includes ARP 2000 plug fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, with optional ARP L19 material rated at 260,000 psi available as an upgrade. The entire kit comes with ARP moly and complete installation instructions.
