ZRP RODS – SET CONNECTING RODS BMW M3 E36 S50B32 / S52B32 I-BEAM

The I-Beam “Heavy Duty” series connecting rods for the Honda K24 are designed for high-horsepower applications. They are constructed from the finest raw materials, high-strength 4340-EN24T steel, with a specially optimized shape for high performance and extreme durability. The “straight cut” pin end increases durability, so they can only be used in conjunction with aftermarket pistons. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance and have a radial groove that serves as an oil reservoir. They are shot-peened to relieve stress from the material and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and torsion are strictly controlled. Each connecting rod includes ARP 2000 3/8″ plug fasteners rated at 220,000 psi. Optional ARP L19 260,000 psi material is available as an upgrade. The entire kit comes with ARP moly and complete assembly instructions.
