ZRP RODS – SET CONNECTING RODS BMW M5 V8 S63B44 HD SERIES

The I-Beam Series “Heavy Duty” connecting rods for the Honda B16A are designed for high-horsepower/boost applications. They are constructed from the finest raw materials, high-strength 4340 steel, with a specially optimized shape for high performance and extreme durability. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance and feature a radial groove that serves as an oil reservoir. They are shot-peened to relieve material stress and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bend and twist are tightly controlled. Each connecting rod includes ARP 2000 3/8″ plug fasteners rated at 220,000 psi. Optional ARP L19 material rated at 260,000 psi is available as an upgrade. The entire kit is supplied with ARP moly and complete assembly instructions.
