ZRP RODS – HONDA K20 H-BEAM LONG CONNECTING ROD SET

The Citroen/Peugeot 1.6L TU5J4/TU5JP4 H-Beam connecting rods are made from 4340 high-strength steel and are designed for high performance and extreme durability. This lightweight design combines lightweight performance with proven reliability at extended RPM. The bushings are made of aluminum-silicon/bronze and feature a radial groove that serves as an oil reservoir. These connecting rods feature a ribbed pin end, which minimizes pin end distortion under heavy inertial loads while saving excess weight. They are shot peened to relieve stress on the material and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bend and twist are tightly controlled. Each connecting rod includes ARP 2000 plug fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, with optional ARP L19 material rated at 260,000 psi available as an upgrade, and the entire kit comes with ARP moly and complete assembly instructions.
