ZRP RODS – CONNECTING ROD SET VW/AUDI 1.4L TSI/TSFI EA111 H-BEAM

The Audi/VW 1.4L TSI and TFSI connecting rods are H-beam-shaped and made from 4340 high-strength steel. These rods are rifle-drilled for extra lubrication of the wrist pin and extend their life. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance and have a radial groove that serves as an oil reservoir. They also have a ribbed pin end that minimizes pin end distortion under heavy inertial loads while saving excess weight. They are shot-peened to relieve stress from the material and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and torsion are strictly controlled. They are designed for high performance and extreme durability. Each rod includes ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi. Optional ARP 625 material is available as an upgrade. The entire kit comes with ARP moly and complete assembly instructions.
