ZRP RODS – CONNECTING ROD SET ZRP 1.4 TJET – 1.4 MULTIAIR

The Opel 1.6L and 1.8L A16/A18 I-Beam connecting rods are made from high-strength 4340 steel and are designed for high performance, extreme durability, and extra rigidity. These rods have a tapered pin end, making them compatible with OEM pistons. The bushings are made of AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance and feature a radial groove for the oil reservoir. They are shot peened to relieve material stress and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and torsion are strictly controlled. Each connecting rod includes ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi. Optional ARP L19 material rated at 260,000 psi is available as an upgrade. The entire kit is supplied with ARP moly and complete installation instructions.
