ZRP RODS – CONNECTING RODS SET BMW 1.6L 316 M40B16 / M43B16 HD SERIES

The H-Beam connecting rods for the Mazda 2.0L MX5 are made from high-strength 4340 steel and are designed for high performance, extreme durability, and superior rigidity. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance and feature a radial oil reservoir groove. They are shot-peened to relieve stress and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bend and twist are tightly controlled. Each connecting rod includes ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220.00 psi; optional ARP L19 material is available as an upgrade. The connecting rod kit comes with ARP moly and complete installation instructions.
