ZRP RODS – VW 2.0L 16V ABF I-BEAM CONNECTING RODS SET

The I-Beam connecting rods for the VW 2.0L 16v (ABF) are made from high-strength 4340 steel and are designed for high performance, extreme durability, and extra rigidity while also being lightweight. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance and feature a radial oil reservoir groove. They are shot peened to relieve stress from the material and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bend and twist are tightly controlled. Each rod includes ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220.00 psi; optional ARP L19 material is available as an upgrade. The connecting rod kit comes with ARP moly and complete installation instructions.
