ZRP RODS – SUBARU EJ20 / EJ205 / EJ25 I-BEAM CONNECTING ROD SET

The I-Beam connecting rods for the Audi/VW 2.0L TFSI EA888 Gen.2 (chain-driven) are made from high-strength 4340 steel and are designed for high performance, extreme durability, and extra rigidity. They are “rifle drilled” as per OEM standards to improve oiling on the pin end. These feature a “straight cut” pin end for increased durability, so they can only be used in conjunction with aftermarket pistons. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance and have a radial oil reservoir groove. They are shot peened to relieve stress from the material and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and torsion are strictly controlled. Each rod includes ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, optional ARP L19 material rated at 260,000 psi is available as an upgrade, and the entire kit comes with ARP moly and complete installation instructions.
