ZRP RODS – NISSAN GTR R35 VR38DETT I-BEAM CONNECTING RODS SET

The I-Beam Series connecting rods for the Audi 4.2L RS6 C5 V8 Twin-Turbo are intended for high-horsepower/boost applications. Manufactured from the finest raw materials, 4340 high-strength steel, with a specially optimized shape for high performance and extreme durability. They feature a “straight cut” pin end for increased durability, so they can only be used in conjunction with aftermarket pistons. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance and have a radial groove that serves as an oil reservoir. They are shot peened to relieve stress from the material and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and torsion are strictly controlled. Each rod includes ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, optional ARP L19 material rated at 260,000 psi is available as an upgrade, and the entire kit comes with ARP moly and complete installation instructions.
