ZRP RODS – BMW M5 E34 S38B38 H-BEAM CONNECTING RODS SET

The BMW M5 S38 3.8L H-Beam connecting rods are made from high-strength 4340 steel and are designed for high performance and extreme durability. The bushings are made from aluminum-silicon/bronze and have a radial groove that serves as an oil reservoir. These connecting rods feature a ribbed pin end, which minimizes pin end distortion under heavy inertial loads while saving excess weight. They are shot peened to relieve material stress and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bend and twist are tightly controlled. Each connecting rod includes ARP 2000 plug fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, with optional ARP L19 material rated at 260,000 psi available as an upgrade. The entire kit comes with ARP moly and complete installation instructions.
