ZRP RODS – BMW 3.0L N52 I-BEAM CONNECTING RODS SET

Honda B18C H-Beam connecting rods are made from high-strength 4340 steel and are designed for high performance and extreme durability. This “ultra-light” design combines lightweight performance with proven reliability at extended rpm. The bushings are made from aluminum-silicon-bronze and aluminum-silicon-bronze and have a radial groove that serves as an oil reservoir. These connecting rods have “ribbed pin ends” that minimize pin end distortion under heavy inertial loads while saving excess weight. They are shot peened to relieve stress from the material and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and twisting are strictly controlled. Each connecting rod includes ARP 2000 plug fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, with optional ARP L19 material rated at 260,000 psi available as an upgrade, and the entire kit comes with ARP moly and complete installation instructions.
