ZRP RODS – CONNECTING ROD SET VW / AUDI 2.0 TSI EA888 GEN3 / GEN 4 I-BEAM

The lightweight VW 1.4L 16v I-Beam connecting rods are made from high-strength 4340 steel and are designed for high performance, extreme durability, and extra rigidity. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance and feature a radial oil reservoir groove. They are shot-peened to relieve material stress and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and twisting are strictly controlled. Each connecting rod includes ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220.00 psi; optional ARP 625 material is available as an upgrade. The connecting rod kit comes with ARP moly and complete installation instructions.
