ZRP RODS – HONDA K20 HD I-BEAM SERIES CONNECTING ROD SET

The Citroen/Peugeot 1.6L TU5J4/TU5JP4 H-Beam connecting rods are machined from 4340 high-strength steel and are designed for high performance and extreme durability. This lightweight design combines lightweight performance with proven reliability at extended RPM. The CC length has been increased by 5.40 mm to make these rods ideal for long-rod applications. The bushings are made of aluminum-silicon/bronze and have a radial groove that serves as an oil reservoir. These connecting rods have a ribbed pin end that minimizes pin end distortion under heavy inertial loads while saving excess weight. They are shot peened to relieve material stress and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and torsion are rigorously controlled. Each rod includes ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, with optional ARP L19 material rated at 260,000 psi available as an upgrade, and the entire kit comes with ARP moly and complete assembly instructions.
