ZRP RODS – SET CONNECTING RODS CITROEN / PEUGEOT 1.6L 16V TU5J4 / TU5JP4 H-BEAM LONG+5.40MM

The longer Opel 2.0L 16v H-Beam connecting rods are made from 4340 high-strength steel and are designed for high performance and extreme durability, but are also lightweight, saving even more weight. The CC length has been increased by 5.20 mm to make these rods ideal for long-rod applications. The pin end is “ribbed” to minimize distortion under heavy inertial loads, while also reducing excess weight. The bushings are made of AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance and have a radial groove that serves as an oil reservoir. They are shot peened to relieve material stress and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and torsion are strictly controlled. Each rod includes ARP 7/16″ fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, optional ARP Custom Age 625 material rated at 260.00-280.00 psi is available as an upgrade, and the entire kit comes with ARP moly and complete assembly instructions.
