ZRP RODS – CONNECTING RODS SET BMW 318I 1.8L M42B18 / 1.9L M44B19 I-BEAM

Honda K20 H-Beam connecting rods are machined from high-strength 4340 steel and designed for high performance and extreme durability. This “ultra-light” design combines lightweight performance with proven reliability at extended rpm. The CC length has been increased by 9.60 mm to make these rods ideal for “long-rod” applications. The bushings are made from aluminum-silicon/bronze and have a radial groove that serves as an oil reservoir. These rods have “ribbed pin ends” that minimize pin end distortion under heavy inertial loads while saving excess weight. They are shot peened to relieve stress from the material and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and torsion are strictly controlled. Each rod includes ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, optional ARP L19 material rated at 260,000 psi is available as an upgrade, and the entire kit comes with ARP moly and complete installation instructions.
