ZRP RODS – CONNECTING ROD SET CITROEN 1.6L TU5J4 / TU5JP4 H-BEAM

The I-Beam connecting rods for Renault 1.8L and 2.0L are made from high-strength 4340 steel and are designed for high performance, extreme durability, and extra rigidity. This “lightweight” design combines lightweight performance with proven reliability at extended rpm. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance and feature a radial oil reservoir groove. They are shot peened to relieve stress on the material and heat treated in multiple stages to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and torsion are strictly controlled. Each connecting rod includes ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220.00 psi; optional ARP L19 material is available as an upgrade. The connecting rod kit is supplied with ARP moly and complete assembly instructions.
