ZRP RODS – CONNECTING ROD SET VW 1.9L TDI I-BEAM PD100/PD115 I-BEAM

The Audi/VW Diesel 1.9L and 2.0L TDi connecting rods are made from high-strength 4340 steel and are designed for high performance, extreme durability, and extra rigidity. These rods feature a tapered pin end, making them compatible with OEM pistons. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance and feature a radial oil reservoir groove. They are shot-peened to relieve stress from the material and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and twisting are strictly controlled. Each rod includes ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi. Optional ARP Custom Age 625 material rated at 280,000 psi is available as an upgrade. The entire kit comes with ARP moly and complete installation instructions.
