ZRP RODS – CONNECTING ROD SET VW / AUDI 1.4L TFSI 2012+ I-BEAM

The Audi/VW 1.4L TSI I-Beam connecting rods are made from high-strength 4340 steel and are designed for high performance, extreme durability, and superior rigidity. These rods feature a tapered pin end, making them compatible with OEM pistons. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance and feature a radial oil reservoir groove. They are shot-peened to relieve stress and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and twisting are strictly controlled.
Each connecting rod includes ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi. Optional ARP 625 material is available as an upgrade.
