ZRP RODS – NISSAN 1.8L CA18 H-BEAM CONNECTING RODS SET

The I-Beam connecting rods for the BMW/Mini Cooper 2.0L B48 Turbo (F-Series) are made from 4340 high-strength steel and are designed for high performance, extreme durability, and extra rigidity while also being lightweight. These rods feature a tapered pin end, making them compatible with OEM pistons. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance and feature a radial oil reservoir groove. They are shot peened to relieve stress from the material and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and torsion are strictly controlled. Each connecting rod includes ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, with optional ARP L19 260,000 psi material available as an upgrade, and the entire kit comes with ARP moly and complete installation instructions.
