ZRP RODS – CONNECTING RODS SET VW / AUDI 1.8L TSI / TFSI EA888 I- BEAM

The Audi/VW 1.8L TSI and TFSI I-Beam connecting rods are made from 4340 high-strength steel and are designed for high performance, extreme durability, and extra rigidity. These rods have a tapered pin end, so they are also compatible with OEM pistons. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance and have a radial oil reservoir groove. They are shot peened to relieve stress from the material and heat treated in several stages to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and torsion are strictly controlled. Each connecting rod includes ARP 2000 plug fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, with optional ARP L19 material rated at 260,000 psi available as an upgrade, and the entire kit comes with ARP moly and complete installation instructions.
