ZRP RODS – CONNECTING ROD SET VW/AUDI 1.8L 20V TURBO I-BEAM

The ZRP Pro Series I-Beam rods for the Subaru 2.0L EJ20 and 2.5L EJ25 are made from the finest raw materials (817M40T steel) to cover even the most demanding applications. 817M40T is a popular hardened alloy steel due to its excellent machinability in the “T” condition. Its hardness ranges from 248 to 302 HB. 817M40T – EN24T can be further surface hardened to create components with increased wear resistance through induction machining or nitriding. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance. Bending and torsion are strictly controlled. Each rod includes ARP L19 cap fasteners rated at 260,000 psi, optional ARP Custom Age 625 material rated at 280,000 psi is available as an upgrade, and the entire kit comes with ARP moly and complete installation instructions.
