ZRP RODS – HONDA B18A / B18B / B20 I-BEAM CONNECTING RODS SET

The Ford 1.6L EcoBoost I-Beam connecting rods are made from 4340 high-strength steel and are designed for high performance, extreme durability, and extra rigidity. These rods have a tapered pin end, making them compatible with OEM pistons. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance and feature a radial oil reservoir groove. They are shot peened to relieve stress on the material and heat treated in multiple stages to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and torsion are strictly controlled. Each connecting rod includes ARP 2000 plug fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, with optional ARP 625 material rated at 280,000 psi available as an upgrade. The connecting rod kit is supplied with ARP moly and complete assembly instructions.
