ZRP RODS – CONNECTING ROD SET FORD DURATEC 2.0L 16V I-BEAM

The I-Beam connecting rods for the Mini 2.0L N20 are made from the finest raw materials, high-strength 4340 steel, with a specially optimized shape for high performance and extreme durability. They feature “straight-cut” pin ends for increased durability, so they can only be used in conjunction with aftermarket pistons. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance and have a radial groove that serves as an oil reservoir. They are shot-peened to relieve stress from the material and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and torsion are strictly controlled.
