ZRP RODS – SET CONNECTING RODS BMW M5 AND M6 V10 S85B50 HD SERIES

The lightweight I-Beam “Heavy Duty” connecting rods for the Honda S2000 F20C are designed for high-horsepower/boost applications. They are constructed from the finest raw materials, high-strength 4340 steel, with a specially optimized shape for high performance and extreme durability. The “straight cut” pin end increases durability, so they can only be used in conjunction with aftermarket pistons. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance and have a radial groove that serves as an oil reservoir. They are shot peened to relieve stress from the material and multi-stage heat treated to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and torsion are strictly controlled. Each rod includes 3/8″ ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi. Optional 260,000 psi ARP L19 material is available as an upgrade. The entire kit comes with ARP moly and complete assembly instructions.
