ZRP RODS – CONNECTING ROD SET VW/AUDI 1.4L TSI/TSFI EA111 H-BEAM

The Audi/VW 1.4L TSI and TFSI connecting rods are H-beam-shaped and made from 4340 high-strength steel. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance and have a radial groove that serves as an oil reservoir. They also have a ribbed pin end, which minimizes pin end distortion under heavy inertial loads while saving excess weight. They are shot peened to relieve stress from the material and subjected to a multi-stage heat treatment to increase rigidity. Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and torsion are strictly controlled. They are designed for high performance and extreme durability.
