INTERCOOLER KIT
The Competition intercooler has the following net dimensions: 640 mm x 410 mm x 65 mm. It has 17 liters of external charge air volume (OEM 9 liters). The newly developed Competition high-performance mesh (Tube Fin) provides sufficient airflow to adjacent components, such as the radiator, and is also very light. The intercooler has a total weight of just 8.4 kg. The cast aluminum end boxes were created in CAD and optimized with the help of CFD simulations for the best possible internal airflow. An air duct integrated into the end box allows for homogeneous filling of the Competition high-performance mesh. The intercooler inlets and outlets have been enlarged to Ø 70 mm, so this kit comes with reinforced silicone hoses. Overall, this intercooler has much lower backpressure than the standard intercooler. The anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity properties ensures permanent, optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. Installation is performed by replacing the OEM intercooler and is easy to perform.
