The OEM maximum operating pressure of the EA888 Gen3 is 200 bar or slightly higher.
At stock power levels, this is adequate for proper atomization and delivery of fuel mass to the cylinders. As power demands increase through tuning and hardware upgrades, the fuel system is pushed to the limit to deliver the required fuel mass. With the VIS high-pressure fuel pump, your tuner has the ability to increase fuel pressure levels above 240 bar!
