The 2.0L 133 kW (2.0L) turbo engine in the specified AMG A-Class models features an indirect intercooler circuit. The newly developed racing network of the WAGNER TUNING high-performance water cooler increases the volume of the standard cooler by 79%. The ratio of internal to external cooling surface area used maximizes heat transfer while simultaneously allowing adjacent components (e.g., the engine radiator behind it) sufficient airflow for heat exchange. Furthermore, the increased amount of cooling water allows the entire thermal system to be kept at a lower temperature for a longer period of time.
