The 2.0-liter B48B20 and 3.0-liter B58B30M0 turbo engines in the specified BMW models are equipped with an indirect charge air cooling circuit. This means that the charge air is not cooled (as usual) by ambient air, but rather by a separate cooling water circuit. Consequently, a reduction in the cooling water temperature directly translates into an improvement in charge air cooling performance. The newly developed mesh of the WAGNER TUNING high-performance water cooler increases the volume of the standard water cooler by 117%.
All WAGNER TUNING water coolers feature a thermally conductive, corrosion-resistant coating to ensure a permanent cooling effect. Installation of the system is also simple and plug & play with the help of our installation instructions.
