Competition intercooler kit from Wagner Tuning for VW Tiguan / Skoda Kodiaq 2.0 TSI. Maximum performance.
The competition intercooler has the following net dimensions: 640 mm x 410 mm x 65 mm. It provides 17 liters of external charge air volume (9 liters OEM). The newly developed high-performance competition net (tubular fin) ensures sufficient airflow to adjacent components, such as the water cooler, and is also very light: the intercooler weighs just 8.4 kg in total. The die-cast aluminum end boxes were created in CAD and optimized for the best possible internal airflow using CFD simulations. An air duct integrated into the end box allows for homogeneous filling of the high-performance competition net. The intercooler inlets and outlets have been enlarged to Ø 70 mm, so this kit comes with reinforced silicone hoses. Overall, this intercooler has much lower backpressure than the standard intercooler. It also features an anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity, ensuring permanent, optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. Installation is easy and replaces the OEM intercooler.
