Wagner Tuning high-performance intercooler kit for Ford Focus ST MK4 2.3 Ecoboost.
The high-performance intercooler has the following mesh dimensions: 720 mm x 201 mm x 130 mm / stepped. It offers an external charge air volume of 15.4 liters (5.5 liters OEM). The newly developed high-performance mesh (bar and plate) ensures good airflow to adjacent components, such as the water cooler, and is also very lightweight. The intercooler has a total weight of just 11.9 kg. The die-cast aluminum end boxes were created in CAD and optimized for the best possible internal airflow with the help of CFD simulations. An air duct integrated into the end box allows for homogeneous filling of the competitor’s high-performance mesh. The intercooler inlets and outlets have been enlarged to Ø 65 mm, so this kit comes with reinforced silicone hoses.
Overall, this intercooler has much lower backpressure than the standard intercooler. It also features an anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity, ensuring permanent, optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance.
Installation is easy, replacing the OEM intercooler.
