The high-performance intercooler has the following net dimensions (300 mm x 222 mm x 125 mm) = 7.7 L and therefore offers a 16% larger flow surface and a 113% greater charge air volume than the original intercooler.
The newly developed high-performance competition net is very lightweight, so the complete intercooler weighs only 5.5 kg. The intercooler end boxes are made of cast aluminum and have been optimized using CFD flow analysis. Integrated air baffles in the inlet ensure even filling of the intercooler. The original snap-on connections have been eliminated, and the connection diameter at the inlet and outlet has been enlarged to Ø60 mm. The kit contains two reinforced silicone hoses. The result is excellent cooling properties with the lowest possible backpressure. This makes this kit suitable for racing.
Furthermore, all our intercoolers feature an anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity properties. This ensures permanent, optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance.
Installation is carried out at the original mounting points and is easy (1:1 ratio). All our products are subject to constant quality monitoring.
