The high-performance intercooler features a new type of racing mesh (finned tube) with the dimensions:
580 mm x 150 mm x 135.4 mm + 580 mm x 62 mm x 70 mm (graded mesh: 14.3 liters), which was developed specifically for the requirements of the Hyundai I30 N. This high-performance mesh offers a 44.3% larger inflow area and a 101.4% larger mesh volume than the original intercooler.
The die-cast aluminum end boxes were designed using CAD and optimized with the help of CFD simulations (for ideal internal airflow). The result is excellent cooling properties with the lowest possible backpressure. Furthermore, the newly developed high-performance mesh ensures that adjacent components, such as the water cooler, still have sufficient airflow through the use of a specially designed air deflector. This makes this kit perfect for racing. Optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance!
An anti-corrosion coating with excellent thermal conductivity protects the WAGNERTUNING intercooler from all environmental influences, ensuring a permanent and optimal cooling effect. Installation takes place at the original mounting points and is easy (plug and play). All our products are subject to constant quality monitoring.
