The Golf MK7 R and some early Audi S3 8V / Leon 3 Cupra have a different windshield washer reservoir installation system than other MQB cars, with the reservoir located on the right-hand side of the vehicle, unlike most MQB models which have the washer reservoir on the left-hand side. For these right-hand-side cars, this is where the VWR collection container will be mounted. Therefore, on these cars, the top half of the windshield washer reservoir must be removed to install the VWR catch canister and oil management kit.
