The Competition high-performance intercooler impresses with its generous mesh dimensions of 550 mm x 445 mm x 70 mm, corresponding to a total volume of 17,130 cm³. These impressive dimensions result in a 134% larger airflow area and a 105% increased charge air volume compared to the standard intercooler. The high-quality Tube Fin mesh with internal turbulators ensures optimal airflow and maximum cooling performance. Despite its impressive dimensions, the intercooler weighs just 9.5 kg, saving weight and improving vehicle dynamics.
The intercooler’s die-cast aluminum end boxes have been optimized using CFD flow analysis to achieve exceptional cooling performance with minimal backpressure. The connection diameters at the intercooler inlet are Ø62 mm and at the intercooler outlet Ø67 mm to ensure optimal flow efficiency.
Another highlight is the anti-corrosion coating with excellent thermal conductivity, standard on all our intercoolers.
