The high-performance intercooler has the following net dimensions (515 mm x 367 mm x 95 mm [stepped] = 16,500 cm³) and therefore offers an 84% larger inflow area and 101% more charge air volume than the original intercooler. The newly developed high-performance competition net provides sufficient airflow to adjacent components, such as the water cooler. It is a high-quality tubular fin net with internal turbulators. The intercooler end boxes are made of cast aluminum and have been optimized using CFD flow analysis. Integrated air baffles in the inlet ensure even filling of the intercooler. This results in excellent cooling properties with the lowest possible backpressure. This makes this kit suitable for racing. Furthermore, all our intercoolers feature an anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity. This ensures permanent, optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. The intercooler and the original crossmember form a stable unit and, thanks to the new high-performance racing mesh, weighs only 11.7 kg. Installation is carried out using the original mounting points and is easy (for minor adjustments, see the installation instructions). Tested up to 6 bar and pressure-stable.
