200001047 – The revised Competition Gen. 2 intercooler kit for VAG models with 1st and 2nd generation SI 1.4T (F) engines.
The Competition intercooler has the following net dimensions (610 mm x 440 mm x 65 mm / 17.45 l) and therefore offers a 10% larger flow surface and a 50% larger charge air volume than the original Audi S3 intercooler. The newly developed high-performance racing mesh provides adjacent components, such as the water cooler, with sufficient airflow and is also very light (S3 OEM 8 kg / WAGNERTUNING 9.2 kg). Free-form, CAD-developed cast aluminum end caps ensure the best possible internal air distribution.
The CNC-machined hose connections have been enlarged to Ø67 mm, so this kit comes with matching silicone hoses. Overall, this intercooler has much lower back pressure than the stock cooler.
Additionally, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity properties. This ensures optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance.
Installation is done by replacing the OEM intercooler and is easy to do.
