200001044 – The EVO 2 racing intercooler has the following net dimensions (520x210x150 / graduated 13,572 cm³) and therefore offers an 85% larger flow surface and a 90% larger charge air volume than the original intercooler. The high-performance racing net is a high-quality tubular finned net with internal turbulators. Despite its dimensions, the total weight of the intercooler is only 7.4 kg. The intercooler end boxes are made of cast aluminum and have been optimized using CFD flow analysis. The original snap connections have been eliminated and the connection diameter at the inlet and outlet has been enlarged to Ø70 mm. Therefore, the kit includes 2 reinforced silicone hoses. The EVO 2 intercooler kit was developed specifically for the high demands of the BMW N54 and N55 engines. The result is excellent cooling properties with the lowest possible backpressure. Furthermore, all our intercoolers feature an anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity properties. This ensures permanent, optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. This kit is completely ready to install; installation is done by replacing the standard intercooler and is easy to perform. Tested up to 6 bar and pressure stable. For vehicles with the M package, additional adjustments to the underbody paneling are required.
