The high-performance intercooler has the following mesh dimensions (520x210x130 / 11,750 cm³ stepped / OEM 510x130x110 mm, 7,293 cm³) and therefore offers a 64% larger flow surface and 60% greater charge air volume than the original intercooler. The high-performance racing mesh is a high-quality tubular fin mesh with internal air intakes.
As a result, the total weight of the intercooler is only 6.6 kg. The intercooler end boxes are made of cast aluminum and have been optimized using CFD flow analysis. The EVO1 intercooler kit is suitable for the lower performance levels of BMW engines.
This intercooler produces lower back pressure than the standard intercooler. Furthermore, all our intercoolers feature an anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity properties. This ensures permanent, optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. This kit is completely ready for installation; simply replace it with a standard intercooler – plug and play. The original charge air hoses can still be used. Tested up to 6 bar and pressure stable. All our products are subject to constant quality monitoring.
