Fiat Abarth 500 1.4 Turbo
The WAGNERTUNING high-performance intercooler features a new competition mesh (tube fin) measuring 600 mm x 204.6 mm x 80 mm (9.8 liters), developed specifically for the Fiat 500 Abarth. This high-performance mesh offers 85% more flow area and 131% more mesh volume than the original charge air cooler. The cast aluminum end boxes were designed using CAD and optimized using CFD simulations (for ideal internal airflow).
For the best possible heat exchange, the WAGNERTUNING high-performance intercooler is installed at the front of the vehicle, replacing the two original lateral coolers. Together with the WAGNERTUNING silicone hoses, the new elliptical tube connection at the outlet of this charge air cooler allows for the shortest possible charge air path. As a result, and due to the generally lower back pressure of the charge air system (see diagram), the overall response behavior could be significantly improved.
An anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity protects the WAGNERTUNING intercooler from any environmental influences, ensuring a permanent and optimal cooling effect. Installation is carried out by replacing the original charge air cooler and is easy to do (plug and play). All our products are subject to constant quality monitoring.
