The Wagner Tuning high-performance intercooler features a new racing mesh (Tube Fin) measuring 600 mm x 204.6 mm x 80 mm (9.8 liters), developed specifically for the Fiat 500 Abarth. This high-performance mesh offers an 85% larger flow area and a 131% greater mesh volume than original intercoolers. The die-cast aluminum end boxes were designed using CAD and optimized using CFD simulations (for ideal internal airflow).
For optimal heat exchange, the Wagner Tuning high-performance intercooler is installed at the front of the vehicle, replacing the two original side radiators. Together with Wagner Tuning silicone hoses, the newly developed elliptical connection of the hose at the intercooler outlet allows for the shortest possible charge air distance. As a result, and due to the generally lower charge air system backpressure (see diagram), the overall response could be significantly improved.
An anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity protects Wagner Tuning intercoolers from any environmental influences, thus ensuring a permanent and optimal cooling effect. Installation is simple (plug and play) and replaces the original intercooler. All our products are subject to constant quality monitoring.
