RADIATOR KIT
The B58 3.0-liter turbo engine of the specified BMW models is equipped with an indirect charge air cooling circuit. This means that the charge air is not cooled (as usual) with ambient air, but rather via a separate water cooling circuit. Consequently, a reduction in the cooling water temperature directly translates into an improvement in charge air cooling performance. This is where the advantages of the WAGNER TUNING Upgrade water cooler come into play. The newly developed mesh of the WAGNER TUNING high-performance water cooler increases the volume of the standard water cooler by 117%. The ratio of internal to external cooling surface area used maximizes heat transfer while still allowing adjacent components (e.g., the engine radiator behind it) to have sufficient airflow for heat exchange. Furthermore, the increased amount of cooling water allows the entire thermal system to be kept at a lower temperature for a longer period of time.
All WAGNER TUNING water coolers are equipped with a thermally conductive, anti-corrosion coating to ensure a permanent cooling effect. Installation of the system is also simple and plug & play with the help of our installation instructions.
