The latest 8Y generation RS3 still can’t be tuned using traditional methods. The RacingLine PCM is an excellent solution for owners concerned about their warranty or who want to enjoy a power increase until calibrations are available.
PCM stands for “Power Control Module” and is RacingLine’s new tuning solution, developed exclusively for the Audi RS3 8Y with the 2.5 TFSI EA855 Evo.
PCM runs on a standalone PCB that communicates with the factory ECU. Developed by RacingLine’s in-house calibration team over the past 12 months, it allows the car to safely increase power and torque.
The results on the RS3 are impressive: expect a power increase of 450 hp and 600 Nm. Not only that, but these gains are wonderfully smooth and progressive, with increases across the entire rpm range.
Supplied with a complete installation kit for simple installation and easy removal at any time without leaving any residue.
Two PCM kits are available: one for DNWC with OPF/GPF, the other for DXHA engines without OPF/GPF.

The new RS3 8Y RacingLine PCM application was designed with OE quality levels in mind. In addition to the PCM box with its beautiful billet case, a stunning carbon fiber bracket positions it perfectly at the front of the engine bay.
The wiring harness is built to the perfect length for RS3 installation. Finally, a deactivation plug is included, should you choose to temporarily disconnect your PCM.
The PCM is designed to work perfectly on a standard, unmodified car. But it’s also calibrated to take full advantage of any other hardware upgrades, such as the intake, intercooler, or exhaust, if installed.
Of course, we all know that many RS3 owners will want a full ECU calibration as soon as it’s available—and who can blame them?
So, uniquely, RacingLine will offer any PCM customer a free upgrade to our OEM+ calibrations as soon as they’re available if they purchase their PCM through an OEM+ dealer and register their unit on our website.
As part of the OEM+ family, the PCM is eligible for free engine control unit calibration updates to Stage 1 and beyond (if available). This will allow you to exchange your PCM box with your supplier dealer and receive their free OEM+ optimized calibration for your ECU as soon as it’s available.
An OEM+ dealer may charge an installation fee for this update service, but RacingLine will not charge you for the new OEM+ calibration.
