New for 2.0 TSI ‘Gen.4’ MQB EVO cars with the battery mounted in the rear boot/trunk, such as the Audi S3 8Y (US market), Arteon R, and any other MQB EVO with a rear battery, today we’re releasing a new mounting bracket to fit these cars.
Frustrating, isn’t it? The latest generation of MQB EVO 2.0 TSI ‘Gen.4’ cars still can’t be tuned using traditional methods.
PCM is RacingLine’s new tuning solution, developed exclusively for these cars, such as the Golf MK8 GTI, Golf MK8 R, Audi S3 8Y, Cupra Leon, and Octavia vRS.
PCM stands for “Power Control Module,” and it’s our way of giving your new MQB EVO car more power and torque.
Easy to install and easily removable at any time without leaving any residue.
Expect increases in power of up to 40 hp and 60 Nm with RacingLine hardware over the factory-issued numbers. Not only that, but it’s a wonderfully smooth and progressive gain, right across the entire rpm range.
The PCM runs on a standalone PCB that communicates with the factory ECU. Developed by RacingLine’s in-house calibration experts over the past 12 months, it allows the car to safely increase horsepower and torque.
Of course, we know many customers will want a full ECU calibration as soon as it’s available—and who can blame them?
Uniquely, RacingLine will offer any PCM customer a free upgrade to our OEM+ calibrations as soon as they’re available, as long as they purchase the PCM unit from one of our OEM+ dealers.
Two versions of the PCM are available, to fit the higher- and lower-horsepower versions of the EA888 Gen. 4 engines.
