The 2025 Mini Cooper F6X Eventuri intake is a fully sealed system, featuring our patented venturi filter housing and a larger volume than the original airbox. Being sealed, it keeps intake air temperatures low and prevents heat buildup, which is crucial for maximizing performance in high-demand driving conditions. The heart of our design is the patented venturi filter housing. This unique feature creates a direct flow path between the intake duct and the turbo inlet pipe, effectively eliminating inefficiencies found in both original cubic airboxes and conventional aftermarket intake systems. Finally, the Eventuri intake system boasts a larger volume than the original airbox. This increased capacity allows for greater airflow, resulting in greater power potential, especially at high speeds, where flow requirements are greatest.

The Eventuri Difference

The Eventuri system for the Mini Cooper F6X uses our patented carbon fiber housing, which provides an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the turbo. Not a simple conical filter with a heat shield, but a unique design that leverages the Venturi effect and maintains laminar flow conditions to reduce turbo drag.

FILTER HOUSING ASSEMBLY

The filter housing consists of our custom second-generation filter, aluminum intake hood, stainless steel bracket, and exhaust section. integrated sensor. The carbon mount wraps around the reverse-mounted filter and gently shapes the airflow to the sensor section, which then connects to the custom flex pipe. This modifies the flow path from the OEM airbox, where airflow enters the front of the airbox, changes direction 90 degrees to pass through the panel filter, and then changes direction 90 degrees again to head towards the flex pipe. Our system is much more direct, with airflow entering from the front of the filter housing and moving to the sensor section without abrupt changes in direction. The result is a smoother path from the filter to the turbo inlet pipe, which then operates with less resistance.

PATENTED TECHNOLOGY

Our patented filter housing features a gradual reduction in cross-section as it wraps around the filter and tapers towards the pipe. This geometry mimics the Venturi effect, where airflow accelerates while maintaining laminar conditions. It can be thought of as a large intake ductβ€”below is a diagram showing how our patented design compares to a traditional intake system. Our custom-designed filters smooth out the airflow as it moves through the housings and allow for a smooth velocity profile as the airflow exits the housings. CARBON INTAKE DUCT The carbon duct draws cool air from the stock air supply behind the front bumper, but has a smoother flow path to the filter than the OEM version. By using organic curvature, we were able to smoothly shape the flow toward the filter housing opening, significantly improving overall flow efficiency. The duct seals the filter housing with an expanding rubber lip, which also accounts for engine vibration. Mounts to OEM locations with hidden hardware, maintaining a clean engine bay aesthetic. CUSTOM FLEXIBLE JOINT The final component is our custom-designed flexi-joint. This allows the filter housing to remain static and therefore sealed to the duct as the engine moves under load.
