High-performance turbocharged air intake system for VAG 1.8 and 2.0 TSI (MQB)!
The design features a one-piece molded plastic upper airbox cover with a 3 1/8″ (80 mm) intake duct with perfectly smooth transitions to significantly reduce turbulence and restriction before the turbo.
This gives the air intake system a near-factory look and supports high power levels (up to 500 hp), bolting 100% without modifications to the car.
The DO88 air intake system has 44% better airflow than the factory setup (complete DO88 intake system with BMC air filter and DO88 turbo inlet pipe).
The DO88 intake system is designed to improve flow/lower negative pressure while drawing only cold air.
As an option, this kit can include a BMC high-flow panel filter to replace the factory paper filter. This air filter offers increased flow and perfect filtration. Another option This kit includes the 3″ DO88 turbo inlet pipe to further enhance the turbo intake system. We recommend using the DO88 Performance Turbo Intake System with the 3″ DO88 inlet pipe, as they are matched for the best possible flow.
